Vancouver Island, near Tofino, has an activity for just about everyone — a blend of rugged coastline, ancient temperate rainforest, ocean and river fishing, and towering mountains capped with year-round ice. Its raw, untamed beauty makes it a haven for adventurers and nature lovers alike.
It also likes to rain. Not all day, but in bursts. On a single day we used the Sports Cloaks for canoeing and hiking in the morning, and the J2s for canyoning, paddleboarding, mountain biking and mountain climbing in the afternoon — we cheated, taking a helicopter to get above the treeline. The EP01 came along for every activity.
Oh — and at one point "we" forgot to close the outside pocket. Ooops.
