The J2 is an extremely high performance baselayer. It regulates your body temperature so you feel neither hot nor cold. So comfortable in fact it’s easy to forget you are wearing it.

Originally commissioned for the USA Deep Cave Diving Team the J2 was developed by a group at Fourth Element with the help of a NASA Product Engineer. On the original expedition other baselayers (merino and synthetic) both caused skin infections and rashes after 20 days of continuous use in wet conditions, The cave divers went 42 days without taking off the J2 and stayed warm and dry with zero skin problems. Since then the J2 has been to the top of Everest, K2, the Sth Pole and some extreme ocean depths and even scorching deserts. It is also in use with certain British Special Forces regiments.
